Wikiapiary is a wiki run by the WikiMedia Foundation which collected machine-readable information about different MediaWiki Wikis.[1] The wiki tracked over 46,000 wikis. Wikiapiary automatically fetched all information from the wikis themselves, using MediaWiki's public APIs and Semantic MediaWiki.
Since 2023 May 20, Wikiapiary has been read-only, due to a bug in Semantic MediaWiki. Wikiapiary remains online, but it cannot be updated and loads very slowly.
An effort to reboot Wikiapiary began in January 2024, but it has seen little progress since.
