Wikiapiary is a wiki run by the WikiMedia Foundation which collected machine-readable information about different MediaWiki Wikis.[1] The wiki tracked over 46,000 wikis. Wikiapiary automatically fetched all information from the wikis themselves, using MediaWiki's public APIs and Semantic MediaWiki.
Since 2023 May 20, Wikiapiary has been read-only, due to a bug[2] in Semantic MediaWiki. Wikiapiary remains online, but it cannot be updated and loads very slowly.
An effort to reboot Wikiapiary began in January 2024, but it has seen little progress since.
